East Coast Index Report for the October 25th Showcase
 

The skill level was at a very high level this past Sunday at Spooky Nook. I can’t wait to see this talent with the top players from Oct. 11th match up with each other! There were a number of great offensive players. My two versatile guys who could get to the rim anytime they wanted were: David Clark of Annapolis Christian in Maryland and Zion Jordan of Capitol Christian Academy in Upper Marlboro Maryland. Here are my “Top 40” for the event:

David Clark – Annapolis Area Christian…great hesitation move, gets to the cup
Zion Jordan – Capitol Christian Academy…very tough off the bounce, shares the ball
Austin Lee – Oratory Prep… creates in open court, finisher, unlimited range
Micah Krauter – Ephrata…shoots it, shares it, plays with passion
Chase Rosato – Susan E. Wagner (Staten Island NY)…shoots the 3, gets to the rim, dynamic player
Chris Mann – Phillipsburg NJ…great lefty getting to the rim, scores in bunches, good off the boards
Bryce Laskey – Laurel Highlands…shoots the 3, great passer, gets to rim off bounce
Adam Seguin – Baker (Baldwinsville NY)… creates off bounce, sharpshooter, can play different positions
Ramah Lassiter – Cleveland Hill NY…finishes in transition, driver, shoots it
Antone Green – Edgewood MD… very strong, athletic, scores the ball at will
Richie Greenleaf – Phillipsburg NJ… nice shooting touch from inside and outside the arc
Darnell Carolina – Cristo Rey Jesuit MD…crafty lefty, shoots j off the bounce
Michael Ayala – Crestwood…moves without the ball, shoots the 3, gets to the cup
Brian Fobbs – Bishop Kearney NY was named the MVP in  game 5  for his all around play!
Henry Nesmith – Milford DE…athletic finisher, creates havoc on defense, scores at will
Anthony Maloney – Tunkhannock …good finisher around the hoop, also shoots the 3
Avery Close – Phoenixville… nice face up game, deadly from 10-15 feet
Kyle Rebelo – Immaculata NJ…fantastic skill set, great finisher
Mason Bossert – ELCO…great off the bounce, shoots the 3, coach on the floor
Bryce Hilverding – Waterford OH… unlimited range from 3, lights out shooter
Anthony Fleck – Palisades…once he gets a head of steam that is all she wrote, nice handle
Blake Bagozzi – Solvay NY… hits the 3 regularly, stat stuffer
Hunter Thomas – Shade… nice “big” who finishes, runs the floor
David Garey – Magruder MD…one of the top guards on the day, shoots it, handles , creates
Michael Lionikis – JP Stevens NJ… gets to rim, finishes in post, shoots 3
Edwin Ramirez – JP Stevens NJ…sweet stroke, spreads the defense with his range, can get to the cup
Matthew Dell Orfano – West York…nice offensive skill set, good range, good in transition
Chris Tracy – Cherokee NJ…nice all around post game, finishes
Tre’von Williams – Johnstown…dynamic athlete and scorer, made for the next level
Jonah Stains – Shalom Christian…lengthy around the hoop, gets to the rim
Rahssan Butler – MT. Pleasant DE…creates transition off his defense, shoots the 3, nice find
Jordin Brown – New Oxford… nice passer on the break, finishes in transition, nice playmaker
Jordan McMillion – Susquehannock…driver, shoots it, creates in transition, whole package
Ben Vitovich – Bishop McCort…great “big” finishes in post AND shoots the 3 at 6’8”
