His high water mark performance came in a game against the New York Knicks played at the Hershey Park Arena, when he scored 100 points in an NBA game as a member of the Philadelphia Warriors. (Find the play-by-play )

"Posey" Rhoads
Mercer H S

He helped the Mercer H. S. Mustangs win back-to-back Class B state championships in 1966 and 1967. He was first-team All-State and went on to be a three-year starter at Wake Forest University. Posey  played professional basketball from 1973-77 in Australia.

From Dave Burman-- Legendary AM 920 WKVA and Penn State football broadcaster Fran Fisher passed away at age 91 Thursday. Here is his legendary call on WKVA back in 1963 when Rothrock HS (McVeytown) won the PIAA boys basketball state championship over Jim Thorpe in an epic finish!!!
