100 by three of the nation's top recruiting services: Rivals.com Prystal Scouting Service National Collegiate Combine Rivals ranks Nasir as No. 45 in the class of 2008. They say "he stands out on the court." Prystal says, "At any pick-up game if you want to stay on the court, he would be your first choice. He can flat-out play!" The National Collegiate Combine rates him "as a top prospect." |
Home Town: Chester is in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, with a population of 36,854 at the 2000 census. Chester's most famous son may well be John Morton, who cast the deciding vote on the Declaration of Independence. However, two recent citizens, Jameer Nelson and Bo Ryan have moved up to the top five. Nelson is the point guard of the Orlando Magic and alumnus of St. Joseph's University, and led the Chester High School Clippers to a PIAA State Championship in 2000. Wisconsin men's basketball coach Bo Ryan is also a Chester native. |
